This is a concealed vertical rod exit device with a wide stile pushpad, made for wood doors. The rods run inside the door, so the face stays clean with no exposed rods or latches. It gives building occupants a push-to-exit path on doors that need exit hardware. Von Duprin is an Allegion brand.
