The Von Duprin 9949L is a concealed vertical cable exit device for doors that need an exit bar with the cable and latching hardware hidden inside the door. It gives a clean door face with a full-width push bar for egress. It is used on openings where a surface vertical rod device would look out of place. Von Duprin is an Allegion brand.
