This is a concealed vertical cable exit device for swinging doors. The cable linkage runs inside the door, so the face shows only the touchbar and a clean profile. It gives building occupants a push-bar exit and suits openings where exposed vertical rods are not wanted. Von Duprin is an Allegion brand. Part 9849L-KC-18 3 US10B LHR is the Wide Stile Pushpad, 36 Device, Key Capture, 18 Lever with Escutcheon, Hex Key Dogging, Left Hand Reverse version in Oil-Rubbed Bronze.
